I lead Salty Brand Studio, where I bring photography, brand, websites, content and user experience together. I started in photography, and over time it became obvious that good photography cannot rescue a weak offer, a confusing website or a brand that does not know what it wants to say.
I work directly with small-business owners. The offer, copy, visual direction and website are developed together, because one weak piece can undermine everything else.
Photography as a foundation
With food, an image has seconds to earn attention and create desire. The same is true for a website or brand: aesthetics matter only when they help someone understand what you offer and why it should matter to them.
Experience
This list shows the range of projects I worked on before SBS and through SBS. Most of my experience is in food and hospitality, with additional work across retail, corporate, medical and creative sectors.
