Your job is to know what you sell, to whom, under which terms and which information you can confirm. SBS translates that business context into a brand, content, UX and a technical system that can operate normally after launch.
1. Business details and decision maker
Provide the legal business name, entity type, address, tax or registration information where applicable, official contact details and the person authorised to approve content, pricing, functionality and the final version.
2. Services, products and pricing
Provide the final service or product list, current prices, promotional prices and relevant reference prices where applicable. Confirm whether prices are fixed or “from”, whether tax is included where applicable, and who will maintain prices after launch.
3. Privacy, cookies and connected tools
List contact forms, newsletters, booking systems, online sales, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, embeds, maps, chat, CRM and any service that may process user data or set cookies. Send current privacy and cookie documentation if it exists. SBS implements the agreed technical behaviour; legal texts and applicability remain for you or your adviser to confirm.
4. Accessibility baseline
Our baseline covers semantic HTML, heading hierarchy, meaningful alt text, contrast, visible focus states, keyboard navigation, form labels and adequate touch targets. This is not a formal WCAG/EAA audit or certification; regulated or certified conformance requires a separate scope.
5. Technical SEO and ongoing SEO are different
Before launch we check titles and descriptions, indexing, sitemap, robots rules, canonical URLs, heading structure and Open Graph where supported. Keyword research, ongoing content and long-term ranking work are a separate SEO strategy.
6. Analytics starts with a valuable action
First define what matters: an enquiry, telephone click, booking, purchase, download or another conversion. Only then can analytics measure something useful and work correctly with consent settings.
7. Domain, hosting, access and content
Provide domain and hosting details, photography and final content, plus relevant GitHub, Vercel, CMS, Google Analytics and Search Console access. Use account invitations or secure transfer instead of emailing passwords.
8. Launch-ready check and handoff
We check responsive behaviour, critical links and forms, the accessibility baseline, technical SEO, analytics, privacy/cookie implementation, pricing structure where applicable, ownership and access. SBS provides technical implementation; the client or a professional adviser confirms legal accuracy and applicability.
You receive ownership, relevant access, a system overview and guidance for content, prices and basic maintenance. You should not depend on SBS to change a single sentence.
